Overclok of the Radeon 8500

1) Introduction:
Since the 2MX overclock, a lot of people ask me to work on a Radeon overclocking procedure. Now that I have a flashed PC Radeon 8500 (see this article), I started working on this project.
This was all made possible by ATI releasing a flashing application on the web, letting me flash the card at will. You can be sure this was not intentional.
To overclock a Radeon 8500, you need the following tools :
- Resedit (must be used under native OS9)
- the Radeon 8500 flashing utility
- a calculator to convert decimal to hexadecimal (and vice-versa)
Of course, you need an ATI Radeon 8500. ; )
Be careful, these tricks seem to work in my case. It could not always be the case.
Neither I nor MacBidouille can be claimed as responsible in the event of hardware degradation, data loss or any other prejudice !!!
